Xanthie Horowitz, Principal, RBX & Co I established RBX & Co out of the overwhelming desire to do what I love which has kept me in this field for more than 25 years; matching candidates with companies where they will excel. As I have reflected over the years on what has brought me the most professional satisfaction, it is hearing the success stories, the joy, the appreciation for the positive impact on people’s lives and livelihood, as well as the stories years later of trajectories and promotions or the fulfillment in working in the same seat with an amazing team. Knowing I have helped to set this in motion is incredibly rewarding. I am excited to connect with people the RBX & Co way.

Technology has changed the industry over the years, and we now have more tools to leverage, but it ultimately comes down to the ability to connect at a human level, utilizing both experience and technology to ensure success. Most recruiters can learn to Boolean search, use AI and hit robotic metrics, but earning trust and respect and understanding who will excel in what environments is a skill that is not easily taught. I’ve been privileged to have been trained and mentored by some of the best of the best (you know who you are). While I was taught structure and discipline early on, over time, it is these skills balanced with flexibility, intuition, integrity, and a tremendous amount of soft skills that led to the best placements for candidates and organizations alike.

I am grateful for that first serendipitous interview that set my career in motion shortly after graduating from Rowan University and I aspire to achieve that same perfect fit every day for my connections.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, yoga, reading up on nutrition and healthy lifestyle, photography, spending quality time with family and great friends and, of course, traveling. I’ll never stop raving about the Greek Islands, the food and “Kefi” (you’ll have to look that up and experience it for yourself).
